Wonderful afternoon spent with some girls from Gateway Sixth Form College, sharing research into the challenges of menstrual hygiene management. They were very keen to have a forum to discuss all things to do with periods and fell in love with the Red Tent idea when it was pitched to them. The Red Tent; a space furnished with cushions and fairy lights. Participants can share menarche stories, or cultural myths, celebrations or taboos. It could be a private space for discussion or to ask questions.
